Visit the last home of the famous writer Robert Louis Stevenson. Suffering from Tuberculosis, he and his wife moved here in the hopes that a better climate would help his condition. Unfortunately after only 5 years he died...he had however, in that time, built a large house for he and his wife and made many friends on the island. You can visit his home, now a museum and also walk to his grave high on Mount Vaea.
