Samoa
Its palm-fringed beaches, booming white surf, and lush rainforests
wreathed in misty clouds make it the kind of place that Hollywood
location scouts go all out for. It is so relaxed here that you will
walk around in a daze..
The traditional Samoan way remains a strong force on the island.
Despite centuries of European influence, Samoa maintains its historical
customs, social and political systems, and language. Samoans are
a typically open, friendly, welcoming, and good-humoured people
with great pride in their culture, traditions, history, and nationhood.

Visit the last home of the famous writer Robert Louis Stevenson.
Suffering from Tuberculosis, he and his wife moved here in the hopes
that a better climate would help his condition. Unfortunately after
only 5 years he died...he had however, in that time, built a large
house for he and his wife and made many friends on the island. You
can visit his home, now a museum and also walk to his grave high
on Mount Vaea.
