The Royal Sydney Golf Club is possibly Australia's foremost social and sporting institution. The size of the membership, the location and value of the harbour-side property, the elegance of the clubhouse and its surrounds all contribute to the Club's standing as a prominent organisation. Royal Sydney also has a short 9-hole course. The course was designed to utilise every golf club in the bag for the competent golfer with undulating terrain, featuring tight fairways and small contoured greens.

In tune with its status as a pre-eminent golf club, Royal Sydney contains outstanding long and short practice facilities to help the avid golfer improve their game. These facilities include a long practice fairway, greens for pitching and bunker practice and two practice putting areas. The Club also operates a well-stocked and professionally run golf shop which provides tuition and a large range of the highest quality merchandise for members.

The NSW Golf Course is rated in the top 50 golf courses in the world. In fact, it is the only Sydney Course rated in the top 100 best golf courses listing. The character of the course is unique, a links style course set amongst the hills and valleys that hug the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline boasting magnificent ocean views as backdrop. Few layouts can offer such a diverse range of challenges over the course of a single round; even fewer can change so dramatically according to the vagaries of the weather.

The Clubhouse boasts spectacular views over the course to the ocean and is available for functions, conferences and weddings. The Club features world class catering to ensure that members and guests receive the finest of food and service.

As a private club and subject to special events, the club provides for limited guest access during weekdays. A handicap limit of 24 is advisable for play, as many tee shots require both accuracy and length from the tee to avoid trouble. Green fee charges are available upon application.

New South Wales Golf Club has strict dress regulations and it is the responsibility of players to dress accordingly.

Eastlake is a championship venue and hosts the Qualifying Event for the Australian Open and the New South Wales Open Championships. The course is a traditional links style layout and features many challenging holes with water hazards to contend with. In Championship format it will challenge the highest standard of golfer and when playing in its regular layout it is just as exciting for the every day golfer. Public golfers are welcomed 7 days a week, 365 days a year and with competitive rates available for group bookings.

The Pro Shop is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to cater for golfer's every need. Head Professional Ross Strachan has been running the shop for 25 years making him the longest established one owner shop in Sydney .

This is a truly challenging nine hole course that helps you work on your short game. There is 1 Par Four and 8 Par Three. The course record is 4 under Par. It defies even the pros who occasionally do a round here to warm themselves up for big games at the Royal Sydney. Thanks to the supervision of the expert greens-keeper - the landscaping and the new greens are top notch. It is also an ancient Whale Watching spot. Aborigine's etched stone carvings on the flat rocks on the 5th hole which are facing outwards towards the vast Pacific Ocean.

Located at Malabar this course affords the player some beautiful views. The location means players are exposed to winds that can really test the game. With a newly refurbished clubhouse this is one of the Eastern Suburbs best kept secrets.

The Pro shop is fully stocked with all golfing accessories. Playing times are available for public most of the week. Lessons are also available.

The Lakes Golf Club, established in 1928, is one of Sydney's most prestigious private golf clubs. The Lakes has hosted a number of championship golf tournaments including The Australian Open, the NSW Open, the Johnnie Walker Classic, the Greg Norman Holden International and the ANZ Championship.

The Lakes is located 15 minutes from the Sydney CBD amongst the Botany wetland area. The new clubhouse is a first-class venue for functions, meetings or seminars.
