Melbourne Zoo’s Orang-utan Sanctuary features an elevated treetops boardwalk that brings you face-to-face with the primates as they climb, play, nest and feed. In the tropical glasshouse you’ll be surrounded by hundreds of colourful butterflies in flight or at rest among lush vegetation. You can see many animals and feeding time and learn more about your favourites from zoo keepers and exhibits.

Melbourne Aquarium

This fantastic Aquarium is a must for the family, all manor of sealife can be enjoyed and you tour the aquarium. You will encounter 4 exciting themed sea-worlds on your trip including Antartica, Weird & Wonderful, River to Reef and Sharks Alive. Melbourne Aquarium's new Antarctica exhibit features majestic King and Gentoo Penguins, marvel as the only sub-Antarctic penguins in Australia slip and slide across the snow-covered ice in their incredible state-of-the-art enclosure. Interactive displays, stunning visual presentations as well as daily penguin feeds will entertain and educate. Melbourne Aquarium is open from 9.30am until 6.00pm daily.
